This website sets no cookies, loads no external fonts, maps, videos or analytics, and does not send your form entries to our server. That is why you see no consent banner — none is required.

1. Controller
The controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
TaxiRond — owner: Salah Badr
Rudolfplatz 3, 50674 Cologne, Germany
Phone: +49 176 21618817
Email: info@taxirond.com
We are not required to appoint a data protection officer under § 38 of the German Federal Data Protection Act.
2. Visiting the website (server logs)
When you open this website your browser sends technically necessary data to our hosting provider's server: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, volume of data transferred, referrer, and browser and operating system identifiers.
The purpose is stable, secure operation of the site and defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in providing and protecting the service. Logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich, which processes the log data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Any processing outside the EU takes place only on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Contacting us
If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we process what you tell us — usually your name, phone number, pick-up and destination address, date and time, and your message — solely to deal with your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a transport contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The request form on this site
The form on the home page sends us nothing. What you type stays in your browser and is only used once you click "Send via WhatsApp" or "Send by email" — at which point your own messaging app opens with a prepared text that you can edit or discard before sending.
If you use WhatsApp, the privacy terms of WhatsApp Ireland Limited apply in addition. We have no influence over that processing. If you would rather avoid it, contact us by phone or email.
4. Carrying out journeys
To perform the transport contract we process booking and billing data. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
German law requires us to record the receipt of every booking at our office and to keep that record for one year (§ 49(4) sentence 4 PBefG); the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Invoices and accounting records are kept for eight to ten years under tax and commercial law.
5. Recipients
We pass on your data only where necessary, in particular to:
- the assigned driver, limited to name, phone number and journey details;
- our tax adviser and, where card payment is used, the payment service provider;
- the licensing and supervisory authority in the exercise of its statutory powers.
We do not transfer data for advertising purposes and we do not sell data.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
- erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- data portability (Art. 20);
- withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
Right to object: you may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). An email to the address above is enough.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit NRW, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
7. Encryption
This website is served exclusively over a TLS-encrypted connection, shown by "https" in the address bar.
8. Changes
We update this notice whenever our service or the legal position changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
